Your location

When you allow location access, your coordinates stay on your device. The full directory is downloaded to your browser once, and the "near me" sorting happens there — your position is never sent to our servers and never stored.

If you decline, we fall back to the approximate city-level location our host derives from your IP address for that request. It is used to centre the map and is not retained.

Business accounts

If you claim a listing we store your email address, the listing you claimed, and your billing relationship with our payment processor. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Verification codes sent to the phone number the State of California published for your business are stored hashed, expire within minutes, and are deleted after use.

Analytics and advertising

We count page views and ad impressions at the county level only. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell personal information.
